Headteacher’s Welcome

We welcome you to St. Mary’s Church of England Primary School. We are very proud of our happy school, and our strong values and achievements.

Our four core values are:
Compassion, Friendship, Koinonia & Trust.

These reflect our Christian foundation as a Church of England School and provide the basis for everything we do and aim to achieve at St. Mary’s. Most importantly, they are at the heart of all the relationships that exist between the members of our school community: children, parents, staff, governors and our local community.

‘Even though we are many individuals, Christ makes us one body and individuals who are connected to each other.’ - Romans 12:5

    What They Say

‘Small school, big heart, learning and growing together'.
    Our child friendly vision
The best bit about St Mary's is the friendships we make and the food!
    Child from Class 2

St Mary's truly is a family. You only need to walk around the school to feel it. Thank you for wrapping around our children

    A parent
Thank you for everything you do at Out Of School Club. We are so grateful for the nurtute you provide before and after school. We would be lost without it.

The shared vision of being a ‘small school with a big heart’ wonderfully describes this nurturing, supportive school. Rooted in Christian love, the team-wide approach to living and learning together is a cherished part of everyday life. As a result, St Mary’s is a joyful learning community where everyone is welcomed and treated well.
