Class 2

Welcome to Class 2.

The staffing in Class 2 comprises Angela Holliday and Laura Wade, who job share as the class teachers, working Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday - Friday respectively. 

We are a very experienced team, who work closely together with the Class One team also.  We work on a two year rolling plan of topics covering a wide range of topics such as Space, Our World Around Us, Pirates and the Seaside.  Lots of fun activities take place, including trips, Design and Technology days and visitors in school, to make our lessons fun and engaging for the children.

The Year Two and Year One children from both Class One and Two are taught together for most of our lessons and as individual Year Groups for Phonics daily.

We are very lucky to have an amazing outdoor area at our school.  Our classroom looks out onto our wonderful school grounds and down to our special forest schools area.  We are surrounded by countryside and often take parts of our lessons outside, including fortnightly visits to our forest schools.
