Teaching Assistant (Level 2) (16 hrs/week)

St Mary’s CE Primary School is seeking to recruit an exceptional Teaching Assistant (Level 2) (16 hours per week) to join our wonderful team and support the learning, well-being and development of our children. This role is based in Key Stage 1 and will involve supporting the children and class teacher within lessons.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has:
- Experience supporting primary-aged pupils, particularly in Key Stage 1.
- Patience, resilience and a calm, nurturing approach.
- The ability to provide focused, consistent support to help children access learning and develop independence.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
- The capacity to build positive relationships with children, staff and families.
- High expectations of behaviour, progress and personal conduct.
- A willingness to uphold and contribute to our Christian vision and values.
- Experience of supporting children with SEND (not essential as support/training available).
