Grade 3 Teaching Assistant

The Governors, staff and pupils are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support pupils learning across the primary age range starting on Monday 4th November 2024.

The successful candidate will be employed to work 25.5 hours across the week. This is an exciting time to join this small, friendly, family school that is committed to providing a wide range of high quality learning experiences. There are currently 103 pupils on roll in four mixed age classes. We are committed to appointing the right person.

Level 2 Teaching Assistant

25.5 hours a week Monday to Friday (time table tbc)

Pay: £23,151 pro rata

Start date: Monday 4th November (can be discussed)

Job type: Permanent

Closing date for applications: Friday 18th October 4:30pm

Interview date for successful applicants: Tuesday 22nd October (more information to follow)

The successful candidate will be expected to:

- Support the teacher in delivering the curriculum

- Undertake group work

- Deliver interventions to varied abilities

- Assist in break-time supervision

- Assist in the preparation of teaching resources

- Be able to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents

- Safeguard children working with and pass on any concerns to class teacher and DSL
